Stone Colburn, 25, was behind bars for stabbing his brother's girlfriend to death and severely wounding her nine-month-old  in 2021, according to the Loudoun County Times.

He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on Oct. 6, 2022, due to a paperwork error, but new charges came to light the following morning, the website said.

Colburn is now wanted, though his original charges were dismissed, for concealment of a dead body, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

He was described as a white man, around 5'10 and 160 pounds, who was last seen wearing a gray and black flannel over a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a maroon knit hat, and black shoes, police said.

Anyone with information on Colburn's whereabouts should contact police at 703-771-5089.
